Barista

We are currently seeking talented and passionate Baristas to join our team in Dubai. As a Barista, you will play a key role in providing exceptional coffee and beverage service to our customers in a fast-paced retail environment. Your expertise in brewing techniques, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor will contribute to creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
2. Operate coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other beverage-related tools with precision and efficiency.
3. Maintain knowledge of coffee bean origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods to provide expert recommendations and guidance to customers.
4. Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by following standard recipes, measuring ingredients accurately, and adhering to brewing and presentation techniques.
5. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and answering any questions they may have about the menu or products.
6. Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process payments accurately.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, brewing equipment, and utensils, in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
8. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, tea leaves, and other supplies, and communicate with the supervisor or manager to place orders as needed.
9. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
10. Stay updated on current coffee and beverage trends, new products, and promotions, and actively share knowledge with customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Barista in a coffee shop, café, or similar establishment is preferred.
2. Proficiency in brewing techniques, such as espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
3. Knowledge of different coffee beans, blends, and brewing methods.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
6. Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
7. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
8. Flexibility to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
9. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
10. Passion for coffee, dedication to delivering high-quality beverages, and a genuine interest in creating a positive customer experience.
