Forklift operators, sometimes referred to as forklift drivers, are logistical workers who operate industrial vehicles in warehouses and factories, at railroad freight centers and ports, and on construction sites. They need to have valid driver’s licenses, and in many states, forklift or heavy machinery certification.
Resposibilities;
- Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles.
- Moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facility.
- Checking loads are secure.
- Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Following written instructions and keeping records.
Requiments:
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating trucks in Saudi Arabia.
Proven experience as a truck driver, specifically with experience in truck driving in the Gulf countries.
Knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and routes in the Gulf region.
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to handle and operate different types of trucks and equipment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while on the road.
Physical stamina and resilience to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading activities.
Fluent in English, and knowledge of Arabic or local dialects is advantageous.
