Waiter/ Waitress

We are currently seeking skilled and customer-oriented Waiters/Waitresses to join our team in Bahrain. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
2. Assist guests in making menu selections, provide recommendations, and answer any questions they may have about the dishes and beverages.
3. Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers and enter them into the system.
4. Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to quality standards.
5. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs throughout their dining experience, including refilling drinks, clearing dishes, and addressing any additional requests.
6. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of tables, dining area, and workstations, ensuring a neat and inviting atmosphere.
7. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions.
8. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, escalating to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
9. Process guest payments, including cash, credit cards, and digital payment methods, accurately and efficiently.
10. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene standards at all times.

Requirements:

1. Proven work experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant or hospitality establishment.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
5. Basic math skills for accurate order taking and billing.
6. Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
7. Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
8. Professional appearance and demeanor.
9. Fluent in English, and knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
